What’s Been Happening?

A photo update, here we go.

Hanging with friends that I don’t often see, which is stupid. Not the hanging out part, the not seeing each other often part.IMG_2017.jpg 1

I had a great time on this car ride. Not sure if the other people did. There was wine, I had Pims. No more details.

Lot of fruit. Lots and lots of amazing fruit. Oh my. Yes.

Fed geese and ducks. They just wouldn’t stand still, it’s like they didn’t care that I had my camera out.

Watching the sun set from my bedroom window is pretty great, there’s a few on my instagram. No filters. This habit of taking photos every evening is probably better than my habit of drinking wine and thinking I’m being funny (when I’m probably not) (but let’s be real, I was being hilarious) and then things happen like having an amazing time on a car journey while singing the Spice Girls. I told you NO MORE DETAILS. Jeez, stop asking.

What’s been happening with you this week?

Hey, What’s New?

A few random things I’ve been up to in the last few weeks that I haven’t shared on the blog;

I bought a place matt at a charity shop for 30p, with the sole purpose to paint it. Don’t question it. This orange explosion is the third painting. I keep painting over it every once in a while, and it feels good changing it and not becoming attached.

It was my Dad’s 50th birthday. The big 5.0. I made him a canvas of ’50 reasons why I love you’. I love sentimental things, I’m an emotional being, but I don’t like cheese, so rather ‘because you’re the best Daddy ever!’, I went for ‘because it was always you and I going on the rollercoasters’.

I read the book ‘The Power of Now’ by Eckhart Tolle. Wow. Just wow. Everything is different now, good different. I haven’t ever felt this good. I have had a lot of these thoughts before, but it wasn’t clear, I needed something to steer me in the right direction and clear up the path. I recommend this book so much, especially if you suffer with anxiety and depression like me. I high five this book so much. Not literally. Well, maybe. You will never know.

Have a great day, because today is great!
